PROFESSIONAL PRACTITIONER II
:



This Course is especially for those who desire to do service as a Professional Practitioner in community 

 
This 30 weeks course of study is for individuals who have completed the Professional Practitioner I course as well as all pre-requisite requirements. During this course Practitioners-In-Training will receive instruction to be effective spiritual growth counselors, to pass the examination required for licensing Professional Practitioners by the United Centers for Spiritual Living, to work full time as a Professional Practitioners, or to enter ministerial education program with The Holmes Institute.

 Teaching Adults Requirement: The Teaching Science of Mind To Adults Workshop is required.  To take the licensing examination, the Practitioner-In-Training must be an active member of a UCSL Church or Center.  Those who chose to affiliate with the Sacred Arts Centerwill have options to lead study group sessions and offer workshops at the Sacred Arts Center.

 Internship Requirement:  Practitioners-In-Training will engage in internships providing some form of self-selected service in community -  such as working with troubled youth, senior citizens, parents of preschool children, in prisons,  or any community setting that fascinates the student –in-training to meet the requirements for 10 hours per term of internship

 

 

Participation in the TSOMA Workshop, registration fee is $50.00 for those who have paid for PPII Tuition by August , 2007. 

Thirty (30) hours teaching and/or serving in a community setting while creating an Internship Portfolio  to be submitted to the Instructor.

 Registration Deadline: August 10, 2007 –a minimum of ½ of the tuition fee must be paid by this date.

 TEACHING SCIENCE OF MIND TO ADULTS



                     A Professional Staff Development Experience for Ministers,
Professional Practitioners, Practitioners–In-Training and others interested in using spiritual principles and creating a beloved inclusive community while designing and facilitating spiritual growth and other classes and workshops with adult participants.

Students, in this (three) six hours per session workshop, will create a three to six hour workshop or mini-course and deliver a 10 to 20 minute segment of this experience to participants.


Participants will learn:
 
   **  To design lessons so participants achieve measurable objectives and know how to apply them to their daily lives. 

   **  To plan processes for developing a beloved inclusive spiritual community as students learn the focus of the workshop. 

   **  To incorporate in the plan and to lead initial experiences to engage students, to deliver learning that is spiritually moving, applicable daily life, creative, and full of joy.

Optional: To purchase Rev. FranCione’s Handbook for Curriculum Development and Facilitating learning.  Cost: $25.00
