Rev. FranCione, MA, Ph.D. is an ordained United Church of Religious Science minister, artist and published author of teacher training handbooks. She is the Founder and Spiritual Director of the Sacred Arts Center in Sacramento.

Her advanced degrees are in Educational Administration with emphasis on Cultural Pluralism, Multicultural Learning, Staff and Professional Development and Early Childhood Education. Formerly Dr. FranCione was the Director of Education for Holmes Institute, the accredited Masters of Consciousness Studies degree granting educational program required for licensed ministers with the UCRS.



In addition to the Science of Mind Certificated Courses, Dr. FranCione designs and teaches such courses as Theology, Youth and Family, Teaching Adults Science of Mind, Spiritual Leadership for Inclusive Community, Metaphysical Bible I and II, and Painting Your Sacred Journey by creating Dream and Vision Paintings and Howard Thurman, The Mystic, His Vision and Prophetic Message.




Rev. FranCione held positions as the Minister of both the East Bay and the San Francisco Churches of Religious Science. Her passions are spiritual growth teaching and counseling, painting dreams and sacred and cultural fine arts. Currently, she serves as the Pastoral Care Minister at Christ Unity Church where she trains and leads the Prayer Chaplains to serve the entire congregation by holding spiritual space, listening and praying. FranCione enjoys being “Grandma” to three wondrous little tikes.

Inspired by the lives of Harriet Tubman and the Rev. Dr. Howard Thurman, it is Rev. Fran’s joy to continually work to free herself, to reach to others who desire to be free so together we may work to anchor the Beloved Inclusive Community right here on earth.
